Shade 02:13
Who’s throwing the shade now (I wanna hate you) I’m not feelin’ the blades (I wanna be you) World’s watching you sink now I’d love to call this a dream Plug in and wind down (I wanna feel you) No steady road to redeem (I wanna be you) It’s all on sale now I’d love to feel like a dream This is much bigger than it used to be I’m afraid you’ll never get used to me Unlock the doors but still have more keys This is much bigger than it used to be I’m afraid you’ll never get used to me But that's not anything worth mentioning
2.
Rearview 03:25
Got to get inside You got to get inside if you wanna Got to get inside You got to get inside if you wanna If I can manage to undo all the damage Do you think it’d leave me better off without it There may be ways that I keep the score But that don’t mean I can do it anymore You saw me driving down the coast in my Chevy Luv I won’t be looking back at our, at our burning bridge If it’s not one thing with you then it’s another I’m trying hard not to blow my only cover If there’s just one thing that’s for sure It’s that you don’t care about me anymore
3.
Farewell 03:23
Well I guess that it’s over I imagine you’re pretty happy Thought I moved on past this But I’m stuck reminiscing Saw you stepping out Saw you fall behind Saw you close your eyes Goin’ under What is this Where am I Trying to grasp these fleeting lies Call me sentimental I just wanna feel real Well I guess this is farewell All this time I’m so numb now Fill the void till it consumes me Keep on looking around me My mind is confused It’s never ending You lit the way and you burned us all down You made the waves and you let us all drown You shut the door and you locked us all out You made the waves and you let us all drown You let us all down (are you for real) You shut us all out (are you for real) You let us all down (are you for real) You let us all drown (are you for real) (I close my eyes and you’re gone again We ripped the page where the glory ends I close my eyes and you’re gone again I’ve ripped my rage from the slated edge)
4.
Halo 03:12
You said you’d never take it all but this is all I have left of you I’m kicking all the dust you shed down this shady avenue Is it all a shame if we die alone Is it all okay if we never find our halo I’m hearing all the seashell whispers as they slide inside the wake Or maybe it’s the sigh of shadows right before I break I’m painting all the stained glass mirrors as they’re staring back at me I’ve chosen all the shades of nothing cuz they hold no memory
5.
Siren 04:27
I’m locking the doors I’m shutting the blinds Gonna stay inside For the rest of my life I wanna survive Our leaders are liars Our hills are on fire I don’t know who to be Gotta save everything I wanna survive And I’ll be there for you Will you be there for me Gotta close my eyes Gotta keep it inside I wanna survive If you like to suffer Can’t even talk about it (You take it all) Give none but you’ll take it all And you’ll crush my generosity Cuz privilege is what got you here Play victim one more time Use him as your scapegoat And you’ll talk that talk till you believe Cuz everything is circumstantial I hear an older version of me Whispering But I don’t hear what I say I’m fading away I don’t wanna talk about (You take it all) You gave nothing and you took it all And you crushed my generosity Cuz privilege is what got you here You used him as a scapegoat So yea just talk that talk Until you believe that everything is circumstantial
6.
Faded 04:58
At the crest of the wave when it crashes to the shore It leaves me in the sea change It leaves me wanting more but What I remember What I make up is the same And cut me in half But your magic starts to fade Hop up like you mean it Cuz I don’t want that kind of feelin’ I can’t believe we’re living at the exact same time Your past and your future much more brilliant than mine but What I remember What I make up is the same I close my eyes to feel it I close my eyes to pull you back again (I want it back) Meet me at the starship With your bags packed And all of the supplies I want to make it to the next world Before the end of time What I remember What I make up is the same and You have the key codes But won’t use them to save me I want it back (fade) I wanna fly, way up in the sky (fade)
7.
Bloom 04:09
I beat the sun again straight to my head again She feels like a drink in me Let's light the match again Her breath is quivering Sleep in the wake of our dreams It comes around again The same old spin again I'm trapped in this ship at sea They’re standing over me While this mosaic bleeds A story she won’t let me speak (I’m driven by fear) All these wild flowers again are in bloom Splitting in half, what won't bend will break I feel the blood rush in Like unrolling ribbons It feels like I’m finally free I don’t know what line you see What’s right in front of me I’ve been out here too long, get me (I’m driven by fear) All these wild flowers again are in bloom Staring at the ceiling balancing tears All these spinning memories turn into years Slipping through my fingers, falling like rain Splitting in half, what won’t bend will break
8.
Patient 03:51
I’m just the dog that eats the food You stuff with pills to change my mood But I’ll play along with you I think I’m circling round the drain (spinning and circling round the drain) I feel the virus in my brain (can’t hear the voices call my name) But who am I to go insane Now I’m as clean as sterile sheets (now I’m as clean as sterile sheets) Tethered and snapping in the breeze (feeling the static while I sleep) A perfect little dream Show me the unrelenting stare (Show me the unrelenting stare) My eyes are locked inside the mirror (search for a sign that isn’t here) But I’m falling everywhere (I’m running) I can’t hear my voice You’re talking over mine A quarter hour gone Whiplash and broken bones And I can’t feel my legs Tired from the day Close my eyes again Seeps into my cells I’ll hibernate in hell I can’t hear my voice I can’t hear my voice
9.
The last time you’ll ever see me Is on closed circuit tv Acid air, crusted to the pavement All my hair, running from my body They don’t care, when and where it’s rotting Everywhere They can't find my fingers They can’t find my clothes The morning splits the night wide open Only morning knows So I thought you’d find me here No I’m gone So I thought you might be there No you’re gone (Slow the burn) Last night a summer secret Last night the streets were ours (There’s no going home, when darkness follows) JK the streets were never A place for little girls I waited a while Till your senses kicked in But I was left to the mice And I gave it all in Cuz I don’t care anymore I don’t care anymore I don’t care anymore
10.
Who the fuck do you think you are I’m not an open door Spilling your shame on me You get no apology Your world is a joke Your god is manufactured You’re a master of fear to believe this broken record Your truth is a shattered mirror You only take what you can’t feel (if I’m erased, take my place) I wanna believe your synthetic lies Was the warmth a genuine sign You looked away, but saw me drowning So unaware, disregard my fragility Recycled words shared with a smile Laugh it off cuz there’s no answer The masquerade captivates till I reconcile Now aren’t you just so clever What’s that Who’s there Okay I’ve gained my bearings Knocked down, back up again
11.
Hot Feel 04:13
We have got to keep it together We have got to keep it together We have got to keep it together We’re tethered Whether we can make it forever Whether we can make this forever Whether we can make it forever Or never We have got to keep it together We have got to keep it together Whether we can make this forever Or never I’m hot for just one final feel when it Knocks you back like it’s the only thing real But I can’t believe that nothing worked out Cuz they kept us running til we’re out of our breath All the voices (We have got to keep this together, we have got to keep it together) Flooding out into the streets (Whether we can make this forever, or never) All the voices (We have got to keep this together, we have got to keep it together) Bring it back this time to keep (Whether we can make it forever, or never)

about

All the Rage is a fire starter wrapped in pink cream. The album is a multicourse meal with pulsing dance beats, heavy guitar riffage and interweaving voices. Its first track “Shade” harkens back to the riot grrl anthems of the 90’s, with howling, harmonized vocals, lashing power chords and a frantic guitar solo. “Farewell” is a frenzied, high energy blast with aggressive lead vocals that slams into a driving, contemplative breakdown with throbbing bass, dreamy vocals and lonely guitar. Post punk pop gem “Halo” is a three minute delight that contemplates mortality while taking the listener “down a shady avenue.” “Bloom” begins as a dreamy and solemn silliloque whose picked guitar draws the listener in before unleashing a dramatic chorus with psychedelic swells and a vamping bassline. Femicide nightmare “Pretty Killer” is set to the pounding of drums and bass and screaming, wounded guitar, crescendoing like a knife fight. The record ends with “Hot Feel,” a catchy track featuring bouncy bass and drums, whose second half is a meandering dialogue between guitar and saxophone that intensifies like an argument before the whole track screeches to a halt.
